Quick Tip: Too Much of a Good Thing?

Increasing your metabolism can be tricky business. You must strike a fine balance between caloric intake, proper food choices and exercise. If you go too extreme on any of of these, your metabolism can respond as though you are in a pre-historic time of starvation: it will go into a “safety mode” of storing fat and calories. In other words, your metabolism will do exactly the opposite of what you want it to do. Balance is key.
